2016 ACSI Teaching and Learning Conference

“In everything, set them an example by doing what is good.” Titus 2:7

September 29-30, 2016 * Faith Academy, Cainta, Rizal

October 28-29, 2016 * Davao Christian High School, Davao City

November 2016
Dear colleagues in the Teaching Ministry,

I thank God for the opportunity HE gave ACSI Philippines to be of service to you in some major concerns you meet not only in the classroom with your students but also within your school community as you work with parents and school leaders.

The TEACHING and LEARNING CONFERENCES held in Faith Academy, Cainta and in Davao Christian High School, Davao City aimed to make all delegates realize that teachers make a strong difference in the lives of the people they meet. You do not make detailed lesson plans, make a hundred-item quarter exam, or make students assemble in a straight line only. More importantly, you make the students know and love the Lord more, you make them see that the subjects you teach are and can be integrated fully with the Bible, you make them ask questions for clarification and think critically, you make them enjoy learning through your creativity and innovativeness in your classroom activities.

It is my prayer that you will realize fully the extent of your influence and become the best teachers for the Lord in your respective schools. If there would be any special need that you think ACSI Philippines could help you with, please feel free to email and we will attend to it as best we can.

Abundant blessings to all of you, your schools, and your families.

Serving the Lord gladly,
Evelyn M. Malabunga-Bumatay, M.A.
