Message from the Country Director

Dear ACSI Partners in the Ministry:
Praise God for another year of opportunities to serve Him! May He grant us wisdom and renewed strength as we continue to work in the advancement of His kingdom. We thank the Lord for His continuing presence this past year and we pray that the seeds we’ve planted will thrive, bear fruit and produce the desired results in our schools.
Christmas in some places was inundated with floods caused by a typhoon. To all who promptly sent aid, thank you so much. You helped to make God’s presence felt in time of distress. Indeed, God is good!!!
With innovation and rapidly changing technology, Christian schools must deal with changing requirements of education while focusing on the mission of preparing our students academically as well as lead them to a close relationship with Jesus Christ. This is addressed in this year’s Educational Leadership Conference with the theme “God’s plan, our future” (Jeremiah 29:11) where we shall deal with relevant issues in Christian school administration and at the same time have the opportunity to exchange ideas and share experiences with peers, iron sharpening iron.
The conference will be held at Bohol Plaza Resort, Panglao Island, Bohol on April 18-22. Our main speakers include ACSI Assistant Vice President Dr. David Wilcox, BTC Graduate School Dean Dr. Dennis Nordine, both experts on Christian schooling, and Mr. Ross Henson of Resolve Consulting from Australia who will speak on School Financial Management and School Governance. Please come with your school board, academic heads, HR, and financial management officers, make new friends and fellowship with your peers from all over the country.
There are two registration fee packages to choose from: 1) 5 days and 4 nights with countryside tour, and 2) 4 days and 3 nights for those not interested in countryside tour. (Please see registration form for details. Check-in is April 18, check out is April 22 for Package 1, April 21 for Package 2. Please register by March 16. We have to finalize our room reservations by then. Registration received after March 16 does not guarantee availability of rooms.
