Enabler on Teaching and Evaluating for Understanding

Dr. Janet Nason, ACSI Asia Regional Director said: "It is important for all teachers in a school to build a shared language around the concepts of outcomes, understanding and assessment in order to maximize student learning and build a coherent approach to curriculum." This is the goal of the enabler we have developed this year. "Teaching and Evaluation for Understanding" is intended to be used over the years as principals and teachers review and improve their strategies to maximize learning. As we focus on assessment and how to measure learning in authentic ways, emphasis is placed on ACSI's "desired student outcomes" of which principals and teachers alike hold themselves accountable.

We encourage principals to attend the enabler with their teachers to be "on the same page" about all the concepts in the enabler.

Registration Fee

P600.00 per participant from member schools and P1, 200.00 from non-member schools. This fee covers the cost of 1 lunch, 2 snacks, the enabler book, and a certificate.
