ACCREDITATION
ACSI RP accreditation, based on Christian school distinctives, is a self study process designed for improving and validating a school program. A schools self study is independently validated and measured against recognized standards. Once accredited, a school receives international recognition and continues an ongoing process of self evaluation and improvement.
BOARDING ACCREDITATION ACSI has developed a stand alone self-study for boarding programs. This self-study is most valuable when used in conjunction with the broader self-study of the entire school program. Accreditation promotes accountability and professionalism in all aspects of the boarding ministry. ACSI pioneered the development of this instrument.
STUDENT ASSESSMENT Member schools have access to the Stanford Achievement Tests, an annual program of student assessment for grades K-12. Tests are ordered directly through the RP office.
STUDENT LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE The ACSI High School Student Leadership Conferences are held at the beginning of the school year in July. They are geared to bring about transformation through:
General Sessions. The fast-paced general sessions call students to culture-shaping leadership. Students gain a vision for influencing their entire community for Christ.
Strategic Planning Process. The coaches - ranging from student life professionals to successful business people - guide schools through a fast-paced, four hour, strategic planning process. Each school leaves with clearly stated goals, strategies and action steps.
Activities. Purposeful recreation times, mealtime conversations, skits, and icebreakers give students and advisors ample time to share ideas and develop a strong sense of community. Schools literally become partners with one another in advancing the Kingdom.
Follow-up. The coaches work with advisors and students in the months following the conference to help break down barriers to effective leadership.
