Dr. Alan Pue, Ed.D.
Dr. Alan Pue is a 1967 graduate of Dade Christian School in Miami, Florida. Remembering the powerful, positive impact of this private, faith-based education on his life Dr. Pue chose to pursue a vocation in teaching. Since completing his undergraduate work and while continuing his professional development in graduate school (MEd in Administration and Supervision, Florida Atlantic University, EdD in School Leadership, University of Delaware) he has served as a classroom teacher, coach, headmaster, and for five years as Provost and Senior Vice President of The Master’s College, a faith based liberal arts college in Santa Clarita, California.
As President of The Barnabas Group, Inc Dr. Pue draws from that extensive experience while helping school leadership team in the areas of strategic planning, problem solving, leadership development. He also provides consultation for school boards, helping them to better understand the crucial role they play in advancing the mission of the school they govern. Since founding TBG, Inc in 2001 Dr. Pue has worked with over 200 schools, churches, and other non-profit organizations and has been a featured speaker at dozens of conferences in the United States and around the world.
In addition to his work with schools he has served as an adjunct faculty member in the doctoral program at Columbia International University, Columbia SC, on the board of the Educational Foundation of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), and as director of mentoring for ACSI’s Leadership U. He is the author of Rethinking Sustainability: A Strategic Financial Model for Christian Schools and Rethinking Strategic Planning for Christian Schools both published by Purposeful Design. In addition he has written numerous articles and book reviews.
Alan has been married to his wonderful wife Linda for forty-eight years. They have two children, Amy and Ryan, both graduates of Christian schools, and seven beautiful granddaughters.

Dr. David Wilcox
Dr. David K. Wilcox, Ph.D., is Assistant Vice President with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). He supports the association’s activities in Canada, Central and South America and the Asia/Pacific regions. He is also an editorial advisor for ACSI’s journal, Christian School Education. He has written extensively in ACSI publications, and seeks to make ACSI services and publications relevant and valuable for the Christian school movement worldwide.
Dr. Wilcox began his career in education teaching children with special learning needs for 5 years in Illinois. In 1982, David and his wife, Erin, went to the Alliance Academy International in Quito, Ecuador. After two years teaching there, David served as Secondary Principal and Director. In 1989 they moved to Malaysia, where he was Headmaster of Dalat International School in Penang for 6 years. His work with ACSI began in 1995.
Dr. Wilcox has a BA in Economics from Wheaton College, a MS in Special Education from Illinois State University and a MA in Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama. His PhD is in Education Policy Analysis from the University of Illinois—Chicago. He is married and has two adult children. David and his wife, Dr. Erin Wilcox, Assistant Vice President for Academic Services, live in Colorado Springs.
